Back to School 2023

As the school year begins, it is crucial that we prepare children and teens with the information, tools, and resources they need to support their mental and emotional wellbeing.

During this transitional period, young people look to their caretakers, educators, and healthcare professionals to provide them with the care and guidance they need to thrive. As mental health services become more prominent in school settings, it is essential that mental health professionals collaborate with schools and families to ensure proper support systems are in place for students. This should include regular training, advocacy, and education around youth mental health. Similarly, parents and caretakers are encouraged to create a home environment that supports healthy habits and positive emotions.
